WHY TIM, WHY????

I’m raising money for Kinbrace, a Vancouver non-profit that has been assisting refugees for 25 years.  Kinbrace provides transitional housing, assistance in accessing refugee protection, an employment program, cultural integration, and many other things!

In addition to donating monthly, I previously volunteered at Kinbrace’s community meals and have been able to witness firsthand how people are warmly welcomed in Canada. I have never had to flee my home due to persecution, war, violence, or be forcibly displaced, but I know I would be grateful to receive aid if I experienced those kinds of trauma. Kinbrace offers relief and rest for refugees in their journey of displacement.

The Ride for Refuge may only take a few hours of my time, but I have seen it make a difference and it grows each year because it’s FUN! If you support my Ride by joining my team or giving, you will be making a difference by bringing hope and refuge to those in need. Thanks for supporting us, friendo :-)
